Takbir Time?

Muammar Gaddafi has reportedly been captured, and died of his wounds, during the NTC takeover of his hometown of Sirte — one of the last loyalist strongholds. I never got a chance to raise the new Libyan flag on this blog, but now seems as good a time as any. I’ve been rendered quite speechless otherwise.

2 a.m. in Libya and the Twitterverse is bursting with news from Libya. First, it looks conclusive that Libyan rebels are in Tripoli, but there are conflicting reports that Muammar Gaddafi is dead, captured or out of the country. Forces have definitely captured at least two of his sons, which may be why reports of “Gaddafi captured” aren’t as they seem.
